Extremely helpful! I’ve always been a relatively big guy; I have decent genetics and benched 100kg at a young age. I had more muscle mass than most of my friends and was happy with myself. However, as I started getting older, I found it difficult to surpass those 100kg, my physique wasn’t necessarily progressing and on top of that I was gaining fat! I realised I was way too comfortable and found myself messing around in the gym, taking weeks off, no structure, no goals or motivation overall. If I’m honest, I never trusted influencers selling their programs and I was confused by all the different opinions and conflicting opinions on social media. Marty broke down the key points of training and made my view on fitness way simpler, pushing me in the right direction. There is no miracle program, you still have to go to the gym, but since he started coaching me, I have structure, I have weekly goals, I understand my nutrition, and I have someone in my corner to keep me accountable and answering any questions I have. I have seen the numbers in my main lifts go up significantly and feel like the gym isn’t just random workouts but purposeful training sessions that get me closer to my goals.
